So, I awoke this morning to the door bell ringing. If any of you know me, I'm not a morning person. I growl my way out of bed, and drudge my way up the stairs to answer the door. I must have looked a mess, because the mail lady kind of just shoved the package in my hand and walked away... quickly. I wasn't functioning at this time, so I didn't add two and two together. I have a package in my hand of medium size, and it had my name on it, I just couldn't figure it out... then it hit me... MY CAMERA IS IN! I ran down the stairs, grabbed some keys and opened it. There, in all its beauty was the box. (Climatic I know). I savored opening the box, and unwrapping its contents out of its bubble wrap. Finally, I unwrapped the body, and then the lens. I let them sit on my desk beside eachother, I'm not sure why, it's not like they needed to have a deep meaningful chat. I took out the battery and threw it in the charger and let it charge till the light turned green. I finally had some lens-body interaction, and slammed the battery in, and was good to go. Nowhere. It was -30C out. So, I sat around the house, when I should have been studying for my tests tomorrow, I, instead, read the manual and played around with it, getting used to it and figuring out how to use it properly. Tomorrow, when it's supposed to be warmer out (-1C it's friggin' summer!), I am going to walk to my tests and take pictures a long the way, and then after my tests I am going to wander somemore. I'm so friggin' jazzed!
